Sometimes, I wonder whether the intentions are good and pure from those displaying a great level of suicidal empathy. I don't doubt for a single second that those doing so have more sinister, ulterior motives. Display a great deal of suicidal empathy, in immigration, as your example states, lobby for non-citizens to gain the 'right' to vote, get those votes, and stay in power for as long as they desire. Even if the identities that shaped Western Civilization for centuries go down the drain. A lot of these people don't care. They'll feign empathy if it means more power for them.

Thank you for giving me a term for a concept I’ve been trying to describe for a while now. College-educated white women in America are simultaneously filled with good intentions and wreaking havoc on everything they touch. “Suicidal empathy” is perfect.

US Democrats / Liberals have Suicidal Empathy.

US Liberals are supportive of all policies which are destructive to America.

I see that suicidal empathy in highly educated adults expressed rationalization for the murder by Luigi Mangione of Brian Thompson. Their blank look at a statement of “no justification” and their “yes, but empathy” takes my breath away.

what if allowing lots of immigration isn't empathy, but an army of virtue signalling narcassists desperate to pain the picture that they ARE empathetic, so they all virtue signal and collaborate in the facilitation, actually thinking it has no bearing on them except their peer standing... on reality. it's not empty at all.

it's just toxic virtue signalling narsassistm.

it's DEMONIC.

Demonic= problems.

I think the focus is on the wrong thing here. Being concerned (empathetic, worried) about people you are told are miserable is a distraction from your own people, as it were. You outsource your emotions to the news outlets and thus your thinking. Losing sight of your own life and purpose, with no internal supporting moral structure, might indeed make you despondent and suicidal.

I think most people who enable the invasion and other enormities against western society are beyond education. We must simply defeat them again and again.
