The lawmakers don't want smart children. They want dumbed-down, easily distracted wage-slaves.

Reasonably educated, by 19th-century standards, people would never fall for the lies spun by the government, not to mention, they'd simply shoot the idiots.

Unreal but not at all surprising. A poor-performing monopoly hates any competition, and it goes much deeper. It’s more difficult to indoctrinate children to ensure their love of woke and hatred of traditional Judeo-Christian values. We had to fight the same fight in “red” South Carolina almost forty years ago.

I have 3 grandchildren who have been, or being homeschooled. We live in Texas and anyone is free to homeschool. We are members of the Texas Homeschool Coalition. This organization supports homeschooling and supports parents who are being harassed in anyway for choosing to home school. Look them up you might find something’s to help you fight this terrible bill.

We started homeschooling almost 40 years ago when it was illegal. We had to sneak around, make up lies for why our kids weren't in school, faced people telling us we were raising "Wolf children" and threatening to call the law on us. It was nothing like how it is today. Ultimately, parents who care will find a way, but you sure don't want to go back to those days.

If everyone homeschools, they will be helpless to do anything. Your kids come first. Yes, fight back, they are our future.

Realistically, homeschooling is an act of rebellion. And sooner or later either the rebellion is crushed, or it goes underground... or across an ocean to a new land.
