Wikipedia Has Fallen to the Woke Mob
Could Grokpedia change things?
Gone are the days when Wikipedia was an objectively reliable source. Not too long ago, this online encyclopedia was known as the site to learn about people, places, and events.
Today? It’s become little more than a propaganda machine that masquerades as dependable media.
It’s a shame, yet sadly on brand for mainstream content!
Over the past several years, Wikipedia has become increasingly woke, promoting globalist agendas while keeping the identities of editors under wraps. At least a fraction of these editors appear to be paid propagandists, which makes their secrecy all the more troubling.
This is not sustainable.
This is not something that can go on unchecked.
Can Wikipedia be saved? Only time will tell, but it’s not looking good right now.
Though in the spirit of turning things around, Wikipedia cofounder Larry Sanger has suggested a series of important changes.
Whether or not these changes get implemented will determine the fate of this so called encyclopedia.
It’s Now or Never For Wikipedia
In late September, Sanger laid out the clear steps for Wikipedia to reverse course and shed itself of woke influence.
Doing away with consensus decision making
Reviving mandatory neutrality
Allowing the public to rate articles.
It doesn’t end there, though.
Even if Wikipedia follows these initial steps, there’s much more work to be done.
Revealing the company’s leaders and editors
Enabling competing articles
Eliminating permanent blocking
While each of these actions would give Wikipedia a shot at redemption, we shouldn’t hold our breath waiting for them to materialize.
Once companies like this bow down to the woke mob, they generally have to learn the hard way that it’s ill advised.
Wikipedia Doesn’t Even Pretend to Be Objective
Truth be told…Wikipedia may have missed its chance to turn things around.
Don’t forget…this is the same company that actively blocks conservative news outlets like the New York Post and Fox News. Though interestingly enough, left wing sources aren’t subject to the same punitive bans.
This - in and of itself - is discriminatory and unacceptable.
Wikipedia also has an unfortunate tendency to overlook violence committed by left wingers. Yet, by the same token, this company doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to pointing out so called “right wing extremism.”
This is not objectivity.
This is not reporting the facts.
This is a rogue company trying to mislead the masses.
Grokipedia is a Great Alternative
While Wikipedia is wholly controlled by leftists, globalists, and other forces that hate America, the same can’t be said for Grokipedia.
This is an alternate online encyclopedia, brought to life by business magnate Elon Musk. With influence from the xAI chatbot, Grokipedia is a much more reliable source for Americans to seek out information.
Unlike Wikipedia, this alternate platform doesn’t hide information about its background and editors. Nor are conservative media outlets blacklisted or banned.
The clock is ticking for Wikipedia to get its act together…and fast.
Many Other Platforms Share Similar Biases
For the past decade now, there’s been a top down effort to shun, shame, and silence conservatives.
The powers that be don’t want us to speak, let alone have influence online.
Sadly, Wikipedia isn’t alone in promoting radical leftism and globalism. It’s certainly not an outlier in shunning conservative publications.
Just a few years ago, news broke that Google was intentionally putting right wing outlets further down their list of search engine results. Left wing outlets, on the other hand, were algorithmically boosted to the first page.
Be aware of this.
Be mindful of where you’re getting your news or information.
Even the “objective” outlets have to be vetted, questioned, and reviewed with a careful eye.
