Another company tries to become Bud Light 2.0
Remember when the makers of Bud Light tried to butter up the LGBT crowd? Of course, sales tanked. Not only do leftists prefer a local craft brew when they drink beer at all, but people who might otherwise crush a couple of Bud Lights while watching a football game also boycotted. For good reason: You should be able to enjoy a beer without having the LGBT agenda shoved in your face.
It was a case for companies remembering who their target audience is. Now, analysts question whether Anheuser-Busch can recover.
Tractor Supply now seems eager to rethink DEI and ESG efforts after facing backlash from conservatives. A statement published on its X account acknowledged that it had “disappointed its customers” by catering too much to leftists.
