We live almost in a catch-22 situation. Babies don't belong in child care. They belong with their mothers. But if put in child care, they are more likely to become dependent or even criminal, even if with single mothers. We shouldn't incentivize abortion. This is not only completely evil, but it destroys the future of the nation. But we obviously need to get as many people off welfare as possible. I only see one way out: restore Judeo-Christian values. He who does not work shall not eat. Charity is the job of churches, not the government. How do we get there? First, shut down the public schools. They indoctrinate children into the system. Second, teach girls to respect their own bodies and not give them to boys and men who have not made a solid commitment to cherish them (known as marriage). Third, if a woman or girl becomes pregnant, make sure the father pays for the expenses of raising a child. Fourth, exact heavy penalties, including prison time, for anyone who coerces a woman or girl to get an abortion. Make it known to everyone that fathers are required to pay, and that coercion to abortion will be punished. Fifth, make it known that for every two dollars earned in a job, the government only subtracts one dollar from welfare. This makes it more profitable to work than stay home. Finally, develop and implement policies that return charity to the churches and the family.
