The quote, "The way to crush the bourgeoisie is to grind them between the millstones of taxation and inflation" encapsulates Vladimir Lenin’s revolutionary ideology and strategy to dismantle the so-called “capitalist class”. Lenin believed that the bourgeoisie, the cake eaters, exploited and oppressed the working class. Marxists believe there are only two classes and that nobody really moves up or down without massive, violent, revolutions. However, in the West people can get rich through hard work and they do it all the time. We also have the ability to run for office. So, it’s ridiculous of Lenin to believe there are only two unchanging classes. Nevertheless, most politicians love inflation and high tax rates. It helps them control the entire populace, not just rich people.
