The attempt to resurrect higher education by ditching the old model and trying something new may seem like a noble endeavor, but it’s too little too late. The university has been slowly dying since before the dawn of the Enlightenment (1685-1815). There’s no time for a hit-and-miss approach if academe is to be brought back from the grave.
