"The War on the West" is a book written by Douglas Murray that critiques contemporary Western societies and argues that the West is facing a cultural and moral crisis. The book argues that this crisis is brought about by various factors, including political correctness, the rise of identity politics, mass immigration, and the decline of religion. The author claims that these developments are weakening the West and making it more vulnerable to its enemies. The book also argues that Western leaders and elites are failing to address these challenges and instead are promoting policies that are further eroding Western civilization.
People began to talk of “equality,” but they did not seem to care about equal rights. They talked of “anti-racism,” but they sounded deeply racist. They spoke of “justice,” but they seemed to mean “revenge.” - Douglas Murray
Noam Chomsky vs Douglas Murray
Noam Chomsky and Douglas Murray have much different perspectives on the West. While Chomsky is a leftist anarcho-syndicalist (Read: communist) ideologue that distorts history, denies genocides (Pol Pot, Bosnia, & Rwanda), and blames everything on the Central Intelligence Agency — academics still somehow love him.
